A Brief History On The Rembert Family Church Andre' Rembert, and his wife Anne Bressan Rembert, French Huguenots, arrived in 1696 from Pont-En-Royan, France. The boat came ashore in what is now Goose Creek, SC. Andre' was #81 on the 1696 naturalization “liste”. Some of the original land grant property is still held today by the Remberts.
